Last June I returned from Coleen’s remarkable Printmaking workshop experience in Italy: it was a pure haven of professionalism, tranquility, and beauty.

I had the pleasure of attending Coleen’s workshop with two great friends and it surpassed all our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in a world of artistic inspiration, guided by a professional who is not only highly skilled in the art of printmaking but also an excellent communicator, eager to share her knowledge and experience and makes you feel her love for her craft. The workshop was well-structured, with clear demonstrations, step-by-step instructions, and individualized guidance for each of us. The atmosphere fostered a sense of creativity and Colleen was very patient and supportive.

One of the standout features of the workshop was the personal touch that Colleen gave to every detail of our stay and the sense of kindness and love that permeated the entire experience. She cared deeply about each participant's personal well-being and we felt it every minute of our stay.

The workshop's location itself was a feast for the senses. Nestled in the heart of Italy, surrounded by breathtaking landscapes and old villages. The tranquility of the surroundings, whether working indoors in a well-equipped studio or taking advantage of the outdoor spaces for inspiration, the beauty of the place added an enchanting element to the workshop experience. The rooms were absolutely lovely and we really felt wrapped in warmth from Colleen and her family.

The printmaking workshop was an absolute delight, blending professionalism, kindness, and a beautiful setting into an unforgettable experience. Colleen went above and beyond to make our week perfect. The idyllic location only added to the overall charm, providing an inspirational setting that left a lasting impression on us. I wholeheartedly recommend embarking on this remarkable journey of creativity, learning, and joy.

A wonderful week of printmaking in a beautiful part of Italy

A week of printmaking in Abruzzo—amazing, energizing, exciting, exhausting, invigorating, inspiring—and that's without using a thesaurus!
My week at the Dedalo Center for Contemporary Art in the village of Castiglione a Casauria with Colleen Corradi Brannigan, a master printmaker, teacher and artist, was more than I ever dreamed of.
We worked hard under Colleen's instruction and guidance, learning many types of printmaking in her fully furnished studio. Inspiration was everywhere, there was always something new to surprise me, from art to relics to nature.
The fresh, local food was delicious, the accommodation modern and comfortable. I loved the afternoon of excursions into the mountains to see a medieval castle, church, chapel and village that few visitors to Italy ever get to see.
All in all, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this course and experience to anyone with even a slight interest in learning about printmaking.

If you want to really explore different printing mediums there is no better place - wonderful Workshop, comfortable accommodation, delicious food and really gifted teacher, level of professionalism and understanding and sharing of skills very high standard - really impressed will return
