We had visited several houses with the estate agent ‘Love Abruzzo’
and then decided on a beautiful property shortly after Easter 2023. In the current year 2023, we then cancelled our jobs and sold our house in Germany by April 2024, with the estate agent pointing out that there were probably minor problems with a small extension that had not been applied for. The municipality could only approve the sale with an addendum to the old building application. This was also noted in the preliminary contract, but was presented by the estate agent as a minor problem and nullity, which would be resolved by the end of April 2024 on the notary date. But things turned out differently......
At the beginning of April, the estate agent informed us that she would not be able to get the necessary documents by the notary appointment. It could take another six months or longer.
At the beginning of May we were then forced to rent an Airbnb. To date, we have incurred costs totalling almost five figures due to ‘Love Abruzzo’. We have been refused compensation. We feel deceived and cheated, as the house was apparently not earthquake-proof from the start and therefore unsaleable.
After almost 6 months, now in October 2024, we were finally able to buy another house through the mediation of a reputable estate agent.

Niet te vertrouwen. Pas op. Wij zijn naar Italië gevlogen om een huis te bekijken alles met haar besproken. Komen wij daar is het huis verkocht. Daarna nog een afspraak gemaakt voor een andere woning een uur en 30 minuten rijden komt dan gewoon niet opdagen. Echt slecht. Wij hebben veel kosten gemaakt en geeft gewoon niet thuis. Pas op pas op☹️☹️☹️
